 An Historical place 

Pethkilla is an historical and important place in Ratnagiri city of Mahabharata State in India. The great King Shivaji Maharaj knew the importance of this area and built a fort here , which is known as Pethkilla.

*रत्नागिरी* - जिल्ह्यात दहा व अकरा तारखेला ढगफुटीसारखा जोरदार पाऊस पडण्याची शक्यता हवामान खात्याने वर्तविली. त्या अनुषंगाने जिल्हा प्रशासनाने नैसर्गिक आपत्तीला तोंड देण्यासाठी पूर्वतयारी केली आहे. जिल्ह्यात नद्यांना पूर येऊन तिरावरील गावांमध्ये पुराचे पाणी शिरण्याची शक्यता आहे. पूररेषेखाली येणाऱ्या ३१ गावांना सावधानतेचा इशारा दिला आहे; तर ४५ ठिकाणे धोकादायक असून, तेथे दरड कोसळण्याची भिती व्यक्त केली जात आहे. त्यामुळे तेथील नागरिकांचे गरजेनुसार स्थलांतर करण्यात येणार आहे.

रत्नागिरी दि. ७ : शासनाने कोरोना विषाणूचा (कोव्हीड-19) प्रादुर्भाव रोखण्यासाठी महाराष्ट्र राज्यात साथ रोग प्रतिबंधक कायदा, 1897, दिनांक 13 मार्च, 2020 पासुन लागु करुन खंड 2,3,4 मधील तरतूदींनूसार अधिसूचना निर्गमीत केलेली आहे.  जागतिक आरोग्य संघटनेने करोना विषाणू संक्रमण हा जागतिक साथीचा रोग (World Pandemic) घोषित केला असून, शासन, सार्वजनिक आरोग्य विभागाकडील उपरोक्त संदर्भ अ.क्र.5 चे अधिसूचनेद्वारे करोना विषाणूचा प्रसार रोखण्याकामी " महाराष्ट्र कोविड-19 उपाययोजना नियम 2020 " प्रसिध्द केलेले आहेत.

            सकाळी 07.00 ते 11.00 वाजता या वेळेत जीवनावश्यक वस्तुंसाठी (उदा. दुध, अन्नधान्य, भाजीपाला इ.) खरेदीसाठी नागरिकांना बाहेर पडण्यास मुभा देण्यात आली आहे. परंतु यावेळेत रत्नागिरी आणि चिपळूण नगर पालिका हद्दीतील बाजारपेठेमध्ये दुचाकी वाहन चालक मोठया प्रमाणावर गर्दी करताना दिसून येत आहेत. त्यामुळे सोशल डिस्टन्सिंगचे पालन होत नाही. तसेच चिपळूण नगर पालिका हद्दीमध्ये काही दुचाकी वाहन चालक विनाहेल्मेट प्रवास करीत असून मोटार अधिनियम 1988 च्या कलम 129 या कलमाचा भंग करताना आढळून येत आहेत.

            तरी लक्ष्मीनारायण मिश्रा, जिल्हादंडाधिकारी तथा अध्यक्ष जिल्हा आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन प्राधिकरण रत्नागिरी , आपत्ती व्यवस्थापन अधिनियम 2005 अन्वये प्राप्त अधिकाराचा वापर करुन रत्नागिरी शहर व चिपळूण शहर येथील बाजारपेठेमध्ये सर्व प्रकारच्या खाजगी वाहनांची वाहतुक बंद करीत आहे. मात्र अत्यावश्यक सेवेतील मालवाहतुक वाहनांना मुभा राहील. आदेशाच्या पालनासाठी बॅरॅकेटींगची व्यवस्था पोलीस यंत्रणेने करावी. 

आदेशाचे उल्लंघन करणाऱ्या  व हेल्मेट न वापरणाऱ्या  दुचाकी वाहन चालकांवर मोटार वाहन अधिनियम 1988 मधील तरतुदीनुसार पोलीस विभाग/उपप्रादेशिक परिवहन विभाग यांनी दंडात्मक कारवाई करावी असे आदेशात म्हटले आहे.

06 पॉझिटिव्हसह एकूण 560

एका महिला रुग्णाचा मृत्यू

रत्नागिरी (जि.मा.का.) दि. 28–जिल्ह्यात गेल्या 24 तासात 6 पॉझिटिव्ह रुग्ण आढळले यामुळे एकूण पॉझिटिव्ह रु्ग्णांची संख्या 560 झाली आहे.  कोव्हीड केअर सेंटर समाजकल्याण, रत्नागिरी  येथून 04 व कोव्हीड केअर सेंटर कोकण कृषि विद्यापीठ दापोली 3  रुग्ण, कोव्हीड केअर सेंटर घरडा 03 रुग्ण अशा 10 रुग्णांना बरे झाल्याने घरी सोडण्यात आले. त्यामुळे बरे झालेल्या  रुग्णांची संख्या 430 झाली आहे.

    चिपळूण येथील 54 वर्षे वयाच्या महिला रुग्णाचा कोव्हीडने मृत्यू झाला.  त्यामुळे मृत्यूंची संख्या 25 झाली आहे.  मरण पावलेली सदर महिला 19 जून रोजी मुंबई येथून बेशुध्द स्थितीत दवाखान्यात दाखल करण्यात आली होती.  20 जून रोजी तिचा अहवाल पॉझिटिव्ह आला. सदर महिलेस मधुमहे आणि मोठ्या प्रमाणावर किडनी इन्फेक्शन होते. दाखल झाल्यापासून सदर महिला बेशुध्दावस्थेतच होती तिच्यावर आयसीयू मध्ये उपचार होती व ती व्हेंटिलेटरवर होती. 

                काल सायंकाळपासून  प्राप्त झालेल्या अहवालानुसार 06 नवीन पॉझिटिव्ह रुग्ण आढळले त्यांचे विवरण असे

1) साळवी स्टॉप ता.रत्नागिरी 

२) मु.पो.कोंडगे ता. लांजा

3) मु.पो. देवरुख ता. संगमेश्वर

४) गुहागर नाका ता.चिपळूण

५)  मु.पो. पन्हळे ता. लांजा

६) कामथे ता. चिपळूण

                सध्या रुग्णालयात ॲक्टीव्ह पॉझिटिव्ह रुग्णांची संख्या 111  आहे. यात पुन्हा दाखल केलेल्या रुग्णाचा समावेश आहे.

                सायंकाळची स्थिती खालीलप्रमाणे

एकूण पॉझिटिव्ह - 560

बरे झालेले  - 430

मृत्यू  - 25

ॲक्टीव्ह पॉझिटिव्ह - 110 + 1

ॲक्टीव्ह कन्टेंनमेन्ट झोन

            जिल्ह्यात सध्या 48 ॲक्टीव्ह कन्टेन्मेंट झोन असून रत्नागिरी तालुक्यात 19 गावांमध्ये,  गुहागर तालुक्यामध्ये   01, संगमेश्वर तालुक्यात 1,  दापोली मध्ये 5 गावांमध्ये, खेड मध्ये 8 गावांमध्ये, लांजा तालुक्यात 6, चिपळूण तालुक्यात 6 गावांमध्ये आणि राजापूर तालुक्यात 2 गावांमध्ये कंटेन्मेंट झोन आहेत.

संस्थात्मक विलगीकरण

            संस्थात्मक विलगीकरणात रुग्णालयांची स्थिती पुढीलप्रमाणे आहे. शासकीय सामान्य रुग्णालय, रत्नागिरी -  34, कोव्हीड केअर सेंटर, समाजकल्याण भवन, रत्नागिरी -  1,  उपजिल्हा रुग्णालय, कामथे - 3, , कोव्हीड केअर सेंटर पेढांबे-1,  उपजिल्हा रुग्णालय कळबणी - 1, कोव्हीड केअर सेंटर घरडा लवेल-03,  कोव्हीड केअर सेंटर, केकेव्ही, दापोली - 15 असे एकूण 58 संशयित कोरोना रुग्ण दाखल आहेत.  

 होम क्वारंटाईन 

          मुंबईसह एम.एम.आर.क्षेत्र तसेच इतर जिल्हयातून  आलेल्या व्यक्तींना होम क्वारंटाईन केले जाते. आज अखेर होम क्वारंटाईन खाली असणांरांची संख्या 20 हजार 05 इतकी आहे.

 आत्तापर्यंत 8 हजार पेक्षा जास्त अहवाल निगेटिव्ह

            जिल्हा रुग्णालयामार्फत एकूण 9 हजार 142 नमुने तपासण्यात आले असून त्यापैकी 8 हजार 854 तपासणी अहवाल प्राप्त झाले आहेत. त्यातील 560 अहवाल पॉजिटीव्ह आले असून 8 हजार 262 अहवाल निगेटीव्ह आले आहेत. रत्नागिरी येथील प्रयोगशाळेमध्ये अजून 288 नमुन्यांचे अहवाल प्रलंबित आहेत.  

    होम क्वारंटाईन म्हणून शिक्का मारलेला कोणीही इसम बाहेर फिरताना दिसल्यास त्याबाबतची माहिती जिल्हा नियंत्रण कक्षात ७०५७२२२२३३ हा व्हॉटसॲप क्रमांक,  नियंत्रण कक्षाचे दूरध्वनी क्रमांक ०२३५२-२२२२३३ व २२६२४८, आपल्या नजीकच्या आरोग्य केंद्रात, पोलीस यंत्रणा अथवा ग्रामपातळीवर ग्राम कृति दलाना देण्याचे आवाहन जिल्हा प्रशासनाकडून करण्यात येत आहे.

    सदरची आकडेवारी जिल्हा सामान्य रुग्णालयातील कोव्हीड-19 कक्षाकडून प्राप्त झाली आहे.  ही माहिती 27 जून 2020 रोजी सायंकाळी 6 वाजेपर्यंतची आहे.  यानंतर अहवाल प्राप्त झाल्यास यात बदल होवू शकतो.  पुढील अपडेट मध्ये सकाळी 12 पूर्वी याची माहिती देण्यात येईल.

After corona's comeback in Ratnagiri district

1. Ratnagiri district had congratulated itself few days before . Unfortunately,  the people from the Mumbai and Pune started to come legally and illegally in this district has caused the re-entry here. The local people and the administration were relieved a bit and suddenly the corona virus hit the safe land ! Here is a link of Corona virus re-entry in Ratnagiri district updates. There are many reasons behind this re-entry of dangerous corona virus.  The first reason of course is the mango supplying trucks and tempos , through which the incoming started . There is also a rumour that these incoming was politically blassed ! It may be a confusion and it might have been circulated by a politically based purpose  Whatever it is , it has spreaded quickly and to the last man in society. Secondly, few people  came through the legal pass system of the Government. So whether unauthorized or authorized, the people from the other cities have pushed the administration to face the outcome.  The District Collector said that they are not well equipped to face the coming load. He must have said it in the context of administration,  but the word helpless administration went into the public.  Even there were rumors that somebody from the politics was behind this ! All this mess is really rediculous at this point of life and death of the people. Everybody must calm down and go to the work seriously and unitedly.  What has happened has happened,  but it should never happen again as the bad message goes into the common people and they get running with what they had listen ! The native people have already shown enough patience in this district and it should not be ruined to keep the atmosphere clean and clear in the fighting against the corona virus pandemic.  A 15 year boy made suicide as he was not able to meet his mother in Jat . In fact, his father had inquired about the vehicle and he was on essential duty as a truck driver.  In his absence,  the boy could not hold patience and he got dead in this suicide. Such unfortunate incidents have worsened the corona virus impact. 

               The natives can't complain about the incomers,  but they are also afraid of their own security. There are no ample facilities here. If thousands of people come from Mumbai and Pune, it will definitely go out of control . The local people and the administration have done and still are doing their best. Further stress may not be good for them. The system should not collapse. This is the main responsibility of every factor attached to the problem. Hope the people will help the administration,  police and the hospitals in the Ratnagiri district. Take care.

Corona update Ratnagiri

09.05.2020  :  At 09 pm today,  the news came that the corona tally has gone up to 34 today.  There are 13 new patients added today, 11 found positive in one place i. e.  in Mandangad tahsil ! 02 cases from the Khed tahsil.  

10.05.2020  :  Today one more added to the above mentioned tally.  This is from the Dapoli tahsil. All these new patients have travelled from Mumbai. 

11.05.2020 : Within 2 days the corona virus patients tally gone upto 42 in Ratnagiri district.  The talukawaise data is as follows  :

          The new increase is obviously due to the new people coming from Mumbai . Even though there is no patient of corona virus in Rajapur , the news is that 33 new people have come in Rajapur , which will be tested and the picture will be cleared only after the lab decisions received. It will take time and we have to wait and take more care now. It is also learng from the news front that the trains are starting from tomorrow.  Lot of new people will be coming and they will decide the fate of the Ratnagiri district. 

             Another great news from the local news paper is that robot has been developed by an state electricity employee and a resident of Ratnagiri Mr. Sanjay Waishaimpayan as per the idea of the District Collector  Mr. Laxminarayan Mishra. This robot is being utilized in the Ratnagiri corona center. This robot is very much helpful to the doctors, nurses and wardboyes etc. as they can keep a safe distance and at the same time can serve the patients  ! It is really a splendid work and done very much at the crucial time . Many congratulations to both of them by mycityratnagiri ! Here is the news in Marathi from the ratnagiri khabardar newspaper. 

 🔴 *जिल्हाधिकारी यांची भन्नाट कल्पना : रत्नागिरीत कोरोना वॉर्डमध्ये काम करतोय 'रोबो'*

➡ *रत्नागिरी :* जिल्हाधिकारी लक्ष्मीनारायण मिश्रा यांची भन्नाट कल्पना आता रत्नागिरी जिल्हा रुग्णालयातील कोरोना वॉर्डमध्ये सत्यात उतरली आहे. या कल्पनेला मूर्त स्वरूप देणारे रत्नागिरीचे रहिवासी संजय वैशंपायन यांनी तयार केलेल्या रोबोमुळे आता वॉर्डबॉय अथवा डॉक्टरांना पेशंटच्या जवळ न जाताच औषध पोहचवणे, माहिती घेणे, जेवण पोहचवणे शक्य झालय. जिल्हा रुग्णालयात हा रोबो आता अहोरात्र काम करू लागला आहे. यामुळे नित्याच्या कामांसाठी रुग्णासोबत करावा लागणारा संपर्क टाळता येणार असल्याने वैद्यकीय सेवेत काम करणाऱ्यांच्या आरोग्यासाठी देखील ते सोयीचे ठरत आहे. हा रोबो प्रत्येक पेशंटच्या जवळ जाऊन त्याची माहिती गोळा करू शकतो, यावर बसवण्यात आलेल्या माईक आणि स्पीकरमुळे वॉर्डबाहेर उभे राहून डॉक्टरांना रुग्णांशी संवाद साधणे शक्य होत आहे. यामुळे वॉर्डमध्ये फिरण्याची ऑटोमॅटिक यंत्रणा कार्यान्वित झाली असून नर्स डॉक्टर यांना या यंत्रणेमुळे खूपच मदत होत आहे. हा रोबो चार्जिंग केलेल्या बॅटरीवर चालतो व याला एका रिमोट द्वारे नियंत्रित करता येते. संजय वैशंपायन यांनी हा रोबो पूर्णपणे रत्नागिरीतच बनवला आहे. सध्या 20 ते 22 किलो वजन हा नेऊ शकतो म्ह्णजे 12 पेशंट चे पाणी, जेवण एकावेळी यावरून नेता येते. संजय वैशंपायन यांचे शिक्षण एमए पर्यंत असून सध्या ते महावितरणमध्ये नोकरीला आहेत. त्यांच्या घराण्यात निरीक्षण करणे व नवनिर्मिती करण्याचे संस्कार आहेत, प्रयोगशीलतेमध्ये आजोबा जर्मन वैशंपायन म्हणून ओळखले जात. लवकरच या रोबोवर कॅमेरा मॉनिटर बसवून पुढील आवृत्ती करण्याचा त्यांचा विचार आहे. जिल्हाधिकारी लक्ष्मी नारायण मिश्रा यांच्या या भन्नाट कल्पनेला वैशंपायन यांनी मूर्त स्वरूप दिलंय. कदाचित संपूर्ण देशात हि यंत्रणा राबवण्यावर विचार होऊ शकतो.

12.05.2020 : The corona virus spread tally further increased today. Today reports of 16 persons received in Ratnagiri and 05 are Corona virus positive , lifting the total to 57  patients.  There are 11 negative reports found. It is learnt from the sources that one person taken to hospital from the Zadgaon Naka . Hence, few parts of the area have been sealed yesterday night. Zadgaon is near to White sea and the Mirya village from the village end and it is also very near to tilak lane, laxmi chowk circle from the city end . Tension is growing around.


13.05.2020 : This is the worst day so far ! Out of 24 reports 22 are corona virus positive ! This is a sudden development and it has increased the corona virus patients tally to 74 ! The talukawise classification is as follows :

14.05.2020 : Today 03 more added to the last tally of 74. Today 74 reports received out of 03 are positive and 71 are negative! Out of these positive , 01 is from Ratnagiri taluka and 02 are from Sangameshwar taluka.  Thus , in the Ratnagiri district,  the total number of corona virus patients has increased to 77 ! That is all for today.


15.05.2020 :  Today there is an increase of 08 patients. Khed 02, Dapoli 02 and Rajapur 01 . Thus the total number of the patients has gone upto 82 now ! Rajapur has opened the corona virus account. 

18.05.2020 : The chakarmanis from Mumbai and Pune are coming on large scale in Ratnagiri district.  Reports says that only Dapoli taluka has received 11000 + people  ! Now the local administration is taking care in handling the situation.  These incoming people are home quarantine for 14 days . If they don't have the essential facilities at home,  then they are taken to different schools, social Temples, marriage making offices and so on. The administration has appealed to the local people to report the police if anybody home quarantine person wanders in village. Five reports have already been received as corona virus positive among those quarantined. The district Collector of Ratnagiri has asked to take more care. The movie warriors and the village protection committees (gram suraksha dal) have to bear more responsibility now.

                 The Ratnagiri  district is leading towards a century ! Here is the latest tally from the news world :

There are 04 deaths in all as 01 woman expired in District General Hospital,  Ratnagiri. 
   
              So it is beyond the century  ! There are now Red zone and other than Red zone system in the country. At present, Ratnagiri is in No Red Zone area. There are 11500 quarantined people in the Ratnagiri district as per the news reports and as the reports come , the actual increase will be seen. It is difficult job ahead. The war against corona virus pandemic is in tremendous situation here. 


01.06.2020 From yesterday, the cyclones in Arebic sea are showing existence as there are rains with winds in Ratnagiri.  The sky is cloudy.  The cyclone is about to hit the coastline.  On this background the deaths due to corona virus are increasing.  There are 09 deaths until now . The coronised tally is moving towards 300 and about 90000 people have been quarantined.  


06.06.2020

Later the corona virus patients' tally gone upto 325 and was leading towards 350 . But on Saturday, the 06.06.2020 , a good news came after many days.  There is no new corona virus patient found today. Today 30 patients have been discharged  ! All the 43 reports received are negative  ! 159 patients have been recovered, 343 reports have been  positive and 13 have been dead and the number of active patients is 171 , until now,  as the news reports say.

         There are  116 containment zones in the Ratnagiri District.  They are divided talukawise as follows  :

Congratulations my dear Ratnagiriyans ! Our district is officially declared today as a corona virus free district  ! It is indeed a remarkable achievement by our people. I congratulate all of you for the discipline and courage you have shown and still showing. I also congratulate all of you for one specific thing. You have kept full control on your minds and did not failed to false rumours. You have kept your calm as you have been keeping for last many years. I must congratulate you and salute you for keeping yourself firm and not going behind some social evils and doing wrong socially. I thank you personally for standing up firmly against the bad event masters and masterminds if there are any, who want to disturb and spoil the good relations which the common people have among them. The common people never want communal riots and they want to live and let live others nicely. I also congratulate you all for keeping out all the differences including political differences and helping the District Collector , District Superintendent of Police and the District Civil Sergeon , who have done outstanding work and who have shown tremendous courage while handling everything. I am proud of all of you as you have shown complete discipline and unity in fighting the Corona virus. I salute here to the District Administration , the Police department and  all the doctors, nurses, wardboys, sweepers and everybody in hospitals as well as the Aasha workers  ! I also congratulate to the different political leaders and their followers. All my friends in media have equally fought this fight. All the reporters have reported from the front while risking their lives ! Many helping organisations came ahead with their helping hands like God's hand ! Corona virus in my city

The corona has entered in my city Ratnagiri. There have been three cases until now. Few areas in the city have been sealed.The effect of locked down is generally good in the city. Very few grocery shops are opened. There are not many people on the roads. The banks are opened. People are going for the very essential tasks. They are using the mask now. Few days before there were some issues between the medical staff inquiring in homes about the sick persons and the local people in one or two areas. Police have handled such incidents very wisely , hence everything is under control now. Police are patrolling very nicely. Administration is working as per the standards set in corona virus conditions. Some of the medical staff is going door to door and making inquiries daily. The administration, the police and the medical staff including the Aasha employees are taking every precaution in this regard. There is not much fear of course in the city. But everybody is taking care now. In fact, everybody must ! Now the police are continously taking rounds even in the surrounded village areas too ! Continuous checking is going on. There are few check posts to. When people don't have self discipline, the police have to teach them and they are doing their best. We are thankfull to the Collectorate, the police department and the doctors, nurses, wardboys , peons , sweepers, the Aasha employees and even the people who are taking the locked down very seriously and staying at home. Let's hope that the corona virus go out of this world.

        There are six cases of corona in Ratnagiri. The six month's baby is improving.  It is a very good sign. 

Weekly Bazar

Ratnagiri weekly bazar is well known as Aathavada Bazar in Ratnagiri  .

          It is a Saturday Bazar ! Every Saturday you see it . It is situated below side to the State Transport Depot. The road which comes into Ratnagiri city goes straight down to the Aathavada Bazar . It is a splendid place to visit and purchase vegetables as well as other small home products . It is very nice to just wander . 

A great facility

This is a great facility for many people . Many people come here , purchase or sell and enjoy . It is a lovely place to visit and watch how the trading actually goes here. It has started many years before and is getting crowded week by week . Traders from the longer distance come here to sell their products and people come here to purchase many useful things for their home and for themselves . The lower pricing is the major issue here which attracts the people to come and purchase .

CIRCLES, NAKAS AND CHOWKS

A ROAD goes through many things . Each city has its own roads . There are many roads in my city Ratnagiri also . We would visit one by one road and its along sides . Each road has its own beauty , own class and own culture ! Every road is independent and still the roads have some common features ! Few are different by history , appearance and class . Yes , the roads do have class of their own ! Few roads had been built by the British ! You can still see the signs of British Vision in this city .

Let us start from a CIRCLE ! Laxmi chowk circle is one of the circles in Ratnagiri . It is always busy  . Here are some views :

This is the view from Laxmi Chowk Circle to Partawane road . Partawane is a part of Ratnagiri city . This road goes ahead to Ganpatipule via Aare Ware beach .

Opposite to the Partawane road , another road goes to Gokhale Naka . Gokhale Naka is one of the crowded place of market . There are many shops of different categories and it is the starting point of vegetables and fruits sellers. Here onwards the market goes on expanding .

       On the Gokhale Naka Road we see 03 more things . Here is Head Post office , a Rikshaw stop just in front of it and small but beautiful Sai Baba temple . Here are the photos :

                      As we move along , we meet more and more roads , circles , lovely buildings , lovely hoardings and boards of shops , beautiful shops and shopping people . We are going to see that one by one in this blog . Do visit often and see the running Ratnagiri . It is really a lovely city to watch during the day and even in the evening . It is a calm city and closes early almost at nine in the night . 

                     Here are few photos of another road which goes down to the area named Peth killa . Killa means a fort . This road comes down from the  Ratnagiri State Transport Depot via famous Aathawada Bazar (weekly market or Saturday Market ) .

As we travel upwards from the S.T. Stand Ratnagiri, we come across another major circle. The Maruti Mandir Ratnagiri Circle. From here three main roads start. one goes to Udyamnagar, the road at the center goes to Hatkhamba and the road at other side goes to Nachane . Here is a photo of this circle :
