Beautiful view from Sakhartar Bridge

SAKHARTAR BRIDGE ...

Sakhartar Bridge is a lovely bridge to travel . It is on the way to Ganpatipule , the famous religious centre in Maharashtra State . You can see the beautiful nature around, the blue sea and the blue sky . There are launches or traullers of fishermen . The fishermen go to fishing in the deep sea and return after the fishing . Sakhartar is very near to Ratnagiri City , just after the Shirgaon village .There is a continuous traffic on this bridge as it is on the way to Ganpatipule.

From here the rickshaws run through out the city and they go outside places like Shirgaon , Sakharatar, Ganpatipule , Hatkhamba, Niwali,  Pawas , Purngad, Jaitapur etc.

st stand rtn to weekly bazar road

This road goes to downtown.  There is a aathavada bazar , also called as weekly market.  Of course,  you can realise that this road is a crowded one. Particularly,  there is a full rush on every Saturday,  when there is a weekly market on.
